Becoming a graphic designer, especially if there is great interest in this type of creativity, is a very enjoyable profession. And there is a path that most follow who are successful. If you are still a high school student, take graphic design or drawing courses while you are there. Work in AP (advanced placement) courses if possible to earn extra credit toward college if you are looking to work toward a degree. In fact, during summers, working within a graphic design company as either an apprentice or intern will give you information and experience that is priceless.
