The manager of online merchandising drives all merchandising aspects of the eCommerce department. He/she is responsible for meeting planned sales and gross margin goals for their designated area of merchandise sold online
This position is responsible for the online assortment on the eCommerce site and other related digital properties. This includes product pricing, rich content, product sequencing, promotional execution, on-site search tuning, inventory planning for the online channel and reporting on category/product performance to the rest of the team. This position must maintain and expand upon the relationships with the various retail merchandising teams and represent the eCommerce team in line reviews as well as vendor meetings.
