It enables you to audit ANY course offered at Video Symphony for two years from your Film & Video Editing Program start date. DESCRIPTION

Create and edit your own short film and TV shows. Work alongside industry professionals on real-world productions. In Tribeca Flashpoint’s Film & Broadcast Associate program, you’ll accomplish all this while students at other schools are just getting started.

You’ll begin immediately by assuming real-world roles in broadcast and film productions. Then, you will select a focus in screenwriting, directing, producing, post-production, cinematography, or broadcasting. The American Film Institute Conservatory – Editing

DESCRIPTION

The Editing program is designed around the technical, aesthetic and collaborative aspects of post-production with the primary focus on storytelling. Fellows develop the skills to be Assistant Editors, Editors and Post-Production Producers while collaborating with other team members.

The post-production facility consists of 15 Avid Symphony bays and one AVID Nitris networked through the AVID Unity media storage system.

ADVANTAGES

The Conservatory’s program is highly structured, involving continuous production work during which Fellows experience both the creative and physical collaborative process.   • Tuition Costs Are Rising At Unprecedented Rates

    The headline says it all.  Tuition costs have escalated to the point where students are demonstrating.  In fact, it's not unusual for a student to graduate from school hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

    This makes it imperative to spend some time choosing the right school to help you achieve your goals.  Sadly, in this age of hyper-inflated tuition costs, a college degree does not guarantee a job, much less a career.

    One strategy that is often overlooked when choosing a school is to talk to people who are successful in the career you want to pursue.  If you don't know anyone in your chosen field, you can often find much of this valuable information online.

    The more entrepreneurial individual might go so far as to enroll in the "University of Hard Knocks" and just go for it.  The reasoning is simple: he can start his career behind the wheel of a Bentley, instead of owing his college what a Bentley costs by the time he graduates.

    We're by no means advocating dropping out of school, or not pursuing an education.  However, we are advocating that you look before you leap.
