You can prepare for a career in the rewarding and fulfilling natural health industry with help from the Massage Therapy program at Carrington College.

The comprehensive curriculum uses a combination of Swedish and other manual massage techniques, as well as energetic therapies and other bodywork methods. Carrington College will also teach you the ins and outs of human anatomy, physiology, massage therapy ethics, and effective communication.

SUMMARY

At Carrington College our Massage Therapy program incorporates formal classroom instruction, laboratory practice in a spa-like setting, and a hands-on internship where students hone their massage skills on actual clients. The program includes extensive review of human anatomy and physiology, as well as various types of massage including Shiatsu, sports massage, Swedish massage and other manual and energetic therapies.  Since many of our graduates aspire to build their own practice, the curriculum includes information related to the business of massage, such as basic management skills, accounting and marketing.

    The headline says it all.  Tuition costs have escalated to the point where students are demonstrating.  In fact, it's not unusual for a student to graduate from school hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

    This makes it imperative to spend some time choosing the right school to help you achieve your goals.  Sadly, in this age of hyper-inflated tuition costs, a college degree does not guarantee a job, much less a career.

    One strategy that is often overlooked when choosing a school is to talk to people who are successful in the career you want to pursue.  If you don't know anyone in your chosen field, you can often find much of this valuable information online.
