DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Design programs at Digital Media Arts College are not just about creativity and software; they’re about visual problem solving and meeting communication needs. The Graphic Design programs develop and constantly challenge its students’ critical and imaginative thinking in order to teach them to solve visual communication problems while learning to maintain client relations in a professional manner.

Along the way, students develop strong classical arts foundations, explore and apply the possibilities of the computer as a digital medium, focus on technical proficiency and business components of print production, gain digital layout skills, create effective advertising solutions, and evaluate what makes visual information understandable and accessible to the end user.

ADVANTAGES

Design theory and history, digital raster and vector imaging, color, typography, client relations; these are multi-level skills that the undergraduate program introduces, all of which are vital to solving the visual communication problems of today’s demanding clients. Students in the Graphic Design undergraduate program are challenged to use these skills on projects that parallel professional assignments, such as corporate logos and web pages.

    The headline says it all.  Tuition costs have escalated to the point where students are demonstrating.  In fact, it's not unusual for a student to graduate from school hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.
