THINGS TO CONSIDER
Our facilities include separate studios for drawing, architectural design, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and bronze foundry while the Phillips Art Museum boasts three major galleries. Also, one of the appealing characteristics of the art program at F&M is the mutual support between the art history and studio art offerings.
FINANCIAL AID
The incoming Class of 2013 will benefit from increased funds for financial aid. Total grant aid will be approximately $2 million (33 percent) higher than for the Class of 2012.

SUMMARY
The Department of Art and Art History educates students in the practice and processes of making art and in the historical analysis of art. We see this endeavor as an essential visual complement to the training in verbal and numerical analysis and production offered in other areas of the College curriculum.
