DESCRIPTION

Today’s successful companies depend on strong visual representation to stay a step ahead of the competition, utilizing multiple forms of media – print, web, television – to deliver their brand or message to the public. Creative professionals who are able to understand “the big picture” and meet the demands of both the boardroom and the design studio have never been in such high demand, as businesses seek ways to maximize the impact that a single picture or just a few well-place words can have on an audience.

Full Sail University’s Media Design Master of Fine Arts online degree program explores the strategic planning behind design. By diving into the strategic solutions needed for the complex challenges that companies encounter throughout the creative process, you’ll be able to channel your artistic skills into a vision that’s both creatively fulfilling and professionally demanding.

ADVANTAGES

A big part of a Full Sail education is learning from the insights provided by our frequent guest speakers who share their experience and perspectives with students. Here’s a small sampling of the guests you’ll be hearing from as part of this degree program.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Along with studying design theory concepts such as brand development, design ethics, and design strategies and motivation, a significant part of your studies will find you engaged in the actual production workflow of the design industry. You’ll be involved in the creation of a variety of deliverables for many different platforms and media, all the while becoming equipped with the branding and strategy tools needed to handle the types of key projects that professionals encounter within the industry.

SUMMARY

It all culminates with your Design Solution, a Thesis/Final Project comprised of all you’ve learned throughout the program that addresses a complex media design challenge – and your proposed solution. The assets that you create for this project will also serve as your working template that you can use to pitch ideas and concepts to future employers throughout the course of your career as a creative professional.

  • Tuition Costs Are Rising At Unprecedented Rates

    http://www.schoolsforme.net

The headline says it all.  Tuition costs have escalated to the point where students are demonstrating.  In fact, it's not unusual for a student to graduate from school hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

This makes it imperative to spend some time choosing the right school to help you achieve your goals.  Sadly, in this age of hyper-inflated tuition costs, a college degree does not guarantee a job, much less a career.

One strategy that is often overlooked when choosing a school is to talk to people who are successful in the career you want to pursue.  If you don't know anyone in your chosen field, you can often find much of this valuable information online.

The more entrepreneurial individual might go so far as to enroll in the "University of Hard Knocks" and just go for it.  The reasoning is simple: he can start his career behind the wheel of a Bentley, instead of owing his college what a Bentley costs by the time he graduates.

We're by no means advocating dropping out of school, or not pursuing an education.  However, we are advocating that you look before you leap.

Schools publish average salary figures that suggest most grads will reap rich rewards, but for many the "average" is a distant dream.

The MBA in the corner office, fresh out of business school with a six-figure paycheck, is a standard trope of Corporate America. Every incoming student has heard rags-to-riches tales of that gilded certification leading to giant paychecks and even bigger bonuses. But how often do these MBA fairy tales actually come true? According to new research: not as often as you think.Read more »
