DESCRIPTION

The Massage Therapy Diploma program provides a foundation in anatomy, physiology and Pathophysiology, which form the basis for training in specific massage techniques. Hands-on techniques include Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Basic Shiatsu, and Supervised Clinical Practice. The diploma program prepares the student for entry-level positions in the massage therapy industry.

Our graduates pursue a variety of jobs including private practice, athletic team massage therapist, massage therapist in a hospital, athletic club massage therapist, on-site massage therapist, massage therapist in a hair salon and/or spa assistant to physical therapists or chiropractors, and massage therapist on a cruise ship and more.

The Fayetteville campus of Blue Cliff College is a modern facility, including office space and classrooms. There is also an atrium where students can enjoy the weather and scenery while they study. All BCC campuses are equipped with lecture space, lab space for massage technique, break areas, computers, library, and administrative offices.

FINANCIAL AID

In addition, Blue Cliff can fund a portion of tuition expenses for qualifying students, and there are a variety of financial plans available.   • Tuition Costs Are Rising At Unprecedented Rates

    The headline says it all.  Tuition costs have escalated to the point where students are demonstrating.  In fact, it's not unusual for a student to graduate from school hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

    This makes it imperative to spend some time choosing the right school to help you achieve your goals.  Sadly, in this age of hyper-inflated tuition costs, a college degree does not guarantee a job, much less a career.

    One strategy that is often overlooked when choosing a school is to talk to people who are successful in the career you want to pursue.  If you don't know anyone in your chosen field, you can often find much of this valuable information online.

    The more entrepreneurial individual might go so far as to enroll in the "University of Hard Knocks" and just go for it.  The reasoning is simple: he can start his career behind the wheel of a Bentley, instead of owing his college what a Bentley costs by the time he graduates.

    We're by no means advocating dropping out of school, or not pursuing an education.  However, we are advocating that you look before you leap.
