DESCRIPTION
Florida Career College offers both a Diploma program and an Associate Degree program in massage therapy. Students will be instructed in the appropriate techniques and acquire the knowledge to begin to practice as a massage therapist upon graduation.
Students are thoroughly instructed in the areas of anatomy and physiology, various therapeutic techniques of massage, pathology, joint maneuvers, plus much more information. Opportunities for graduates are available in medical offices, chiropractic practices, spas and fitness centers.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
Depending on the program selected, students will be prepared to enter entry-level jobs and progress as a massage therapist. Graduates will have the essential knowledge in the theory and application of massage techniques. These include: Swedish massage, sports therapy massage, Oriental massage techniques, deep tissue massage and more. Students are also trained in CPR, general business practices, ethics and interpersonal skills.

Florida Career College will do everything possible to assist every student to find a method to finance their education. The staff of the Financial Services Office is ready to consult with and assist current students and others interested in attending.
